5 Metre Dust Collector Platform

In August we got a job to produce a 5 metre high platform for a company planning on putting a dust collection unit on top of it. We started off by creating the platform from heavy channel sections cut and welded together, then cutting the floor from sheets of open mesh flooring. Once the platforms were created we got to work on the tricky part, the 5 metre legs! We used heavy channel sections cut to size and welded for this too. Once the legs were produced we tried all of them on to check the sizes suited. It was then sent to the galvanizers and will be sent from there straight to the job for our customer. The 3 photos show one of the platforms being produced, the legs being lifted with our overhead crane and the flooring sections being applied to the platform.
